The union organizes a football tournament with 250 players participating

On November 28, the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Trade Union of Vietsovpetro announced that it had successfully organized the Vietsovpetro Men's Football Tournament in 2025; and awarded prizes to the teams with high achievements.

This is an activity to celebrate the 14th Vietsovpetro Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, commemorating the 64th anniversary of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Industry's Traditional Day (November 27, 2011 - November 27, 2025) and the 44th anniversary of the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture of Vietsovpetro's Traditional Day (November 19, 2021 - November 19, 2025). The tournament brings together 17 football teams from member grassroots trade unions and the guest team of the Russian Trade Union, with 250 players competing in 2 classes A and B.

The matches were dramatic and demonstrated the sportsmanship and solidarity between participating units. Thereby, the Sea Transport and diving Enterprise team won the championship of the Nam Vietsovpetro Football Tournament, Class A; and the Drilling and well repair Enterprise team won the championship, Class B.

Through the tournament, it is also an opportunity for union members and workers to practice physical exercise, improve health, prevent diseases; enhance communication and connection between union members and workers in units, and spread the Vietsovpetro culture. Thereby recreating labor and continuing to contribute to the completion of production and business tasks of the units in particular and Vietsovpetro in general.
