Nam Nha Trang Ward Trade Union aims for 100% of enterprises with trade unions

Nam Nha Trang Ward, after its establishment, has 74 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with 4,341 union members.

The ward union officially launched on September 9, focusing on guiding establishments and unions in the area to change seals according to regulations; reviewing and grasping the situation of union members and activities of grassroots unions; developing regulations and work programs.

The ward union has coordinated to organize the giving of 150 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts worth more than 30 million VND to children of union members in difficult circumstances; presented 135 health insurance cards to the poor; at the same time, promoted propaganda about the two-level government model, building a civilized urban lifestyle and the "digital education" movement.

At the 1st Nam Nha Trang Ward Trade Union Congress, delegates discussed and agreed on the direction, goals, tasks, key targets and solutions for the next 5 years.

Ward trade unions aim to establish grassroots trade unions in 100% of enterprises and units with 20 or more employees; strive for at least 80% of enterprises with trade unions to sign and implement collective labor agreements.

100% of public service units organize annual civil servant conferences; 100% of state-owned enterprise trade unions and at least 60% of non-state enterprise trade unions organize workers' conferences on time as prescribed.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, it is one of the key wards of the province.

Nam Nha Trang Ward Trade Union needs to develop solutions to coordinate with businesses and units in the area to increase care for the rights of union members and workers.

At the same time, continue to promote the patriotic emulation movement associated with the task of urban development, building a humane, civilized and modern community.

The ward union also oriented research to build an open, flexible and dynamic operating model to attract and gather workers in accordance with the type of enterprise, the needs and aspirations of workers; promote digital transformation in union activities, apply information technology in management, operation and connecting union members.

At the congress, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor announced the following decisions: Appointing the Executive Committee of the Nam Nha Trang Ward Trade Union consisting of 13 members and appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phu - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward - to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Nam Nha Trang Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
