Mega Surplus Trade Union aims for 100% of workers to be union members

Mega Surplus Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. has gone through the 2023-2025 term with many outstanding efforts and successes, affirming its role as a trusted representative for workers. Up to now, the grassroots trade union has 1,183 members/1,183 employees, reaching a rate of 100% and exceeding the set target.

Of which, 1,015 female union members actively participated in the trade union movement, contributing to creating a stable and harmonious working environment. 100% of employees are signed full labor contracts, participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Thankfully, the grassroots trade union maintains the title of successfully completing tasks continuously every year and always ranks high in the professional assessment subjects of the Provincial Labor Federation.

Regarding life care and welfare, the distribution union signs and supervises Collective Labor Agreements with more favorable conditions for employees. Workers receiving professional support need 350,000 VND/month, children under 6 years old need 50,000 VND/child/month and have a long meals period of 384,000 VND/month. During the term, the Trade Union visited and directly cared for workers with a total amount of 464,733,134 VND, birthday gifts of 93,195,000 VND, and at the same time mobilized to contribute 25,000,000 VND to support union members' families in difficult circumstances.

The results achieved in the past term have strengthened the role of representing and protecting workers' rights, while improving the quality of labor relations, creating a harmonious, stable and sustainable working environment.

100% of workers become members

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, Mega Surplus Trade Union identified the presidential goal of innovating the content and methods of operation according to the instructions of union members and workers. In which, 100% of eligible employees will become members of the union, the Collective Labor Agreement will achieve at least type B with a minimum of 10 provisions more favorable than the law, and at least 5 outstanding union members will be introduced to the Party for consideration, fostering and termination. Implement the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".

The Group also focuses on improving the qualifications of employees, striving for 80% of employees to participate in vocational skills training and 80% to be disseminated knowledge about information technology and digital technology. Cultural and sports activities are developed systematically, ensuring that 85% or more members participate, while maintaining corporate cultural standards. 100% of the union members can be trained and fostered in professional discussions and working skills, and all work of the union members is consulted, supported and resolved promptly by the union when required.

The new tenure direction focuses on enhancing the role of representing and protecting workers' rights, while developing high-quality human resources, strengthening solidarity and solidarity in enterprises. With this in mind, Mega Surplus Company is determined to aim for a successful, sustainable mission, continuing to complete the set targets.
