Trade union encourages children of workers to achieve outstanding achievements in study
Quang Ninh - April 2nd, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited said that the unit has just organized to encourage workers' children to achieve typical achievements in their studies.
Accordingly, leaders of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union directly visited and awarded prizes to Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan - a typical student of the Mao Khe mine area.
Em Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan is the daughter of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien - a worker at Mao Khe Coal Company.Although the family is still in many difficulties, her father died early, and her mother alone raises four children to study, Ngan always strives and achieves many good results in her studies.
She has continuously been a comprehensive excellent student, winning high-level provincial prizes in Informatics and Chemistry; and at the same time boldly and confidently participating in the "Road to Olympia Peak" Program.
In particular, Ngan is always exemplary and conscious to become a bright example in her studies. All four sisters of Ngan achieved good academic results and have been commended at conferences to commend typical workers' children of the Group for many consecutive years.
Ms. Lien, Ngan's mother and her children were very touched by the concern, directly visiting, encouraging and awarding prizes to Ngan.
The gift has shown the practical concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization and the Group's Women's Progress Committee towards the children of workers, contributing to adding motivation for them to continue to strive to study, train, and nurture dreams and ambitions.
