Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union presents decisions on organization and personnel work

Implementing Decision No. 129/QD-TLD dated August 26, 2025 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on approving the Project on reorganizing the apparatus and staffing of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has organized the announcement and awarding of decisions on organization and personnel work.

Accordingly, the Trade Union Working Committee was established (on the basis of merging the Office and the Propaganda - Women's Committee) and the Labor Relations Committee (on the basis of merging the Organization - Inspection Committee and the Legal Policy Committee & Labor Relations Committee). The two boards are responsible for inheriting all work, personnel, documents, assets and related issues from the merged boards.

Appointment of department heads and deputy heads. In which, Ms. Nguyen Vinh Hong holds the position of Head of the Trade Union Work Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoan holds the position of Head of the Labor Relations Committee.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, the arrangement and streamlining of the organization is an important step, but also poses challenges. The number of departments and personnel is decreasing but still having to ensure better and better work efficiency means that the spirit of participation of the whole agency must be higher than before.

This requires close connection and scientific work between departments and individuals. The restructuring of the apparatus is only truly meaningful when each cadre and civil servant promotes the spirit of solidarity, is ready to roll, and is determined to carry out all tasks.
