Over 55 billion VND to take care of union members and workers

During the term, the Trade Union advised employers to well implement the regime and policies for employees according to the provisions of law. 100% of employees are eligible to sign labor contracts of all kinds. In addition to contributing to Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance, the company also buys high-level health insurance for all employees, with a total amount of over 9 billion VND.

The grassroots union coordinates with the company to organize kindergartens from 6 to 36 months old for children of officers and employees (CBNV), at low costs. Thereby, creating conditions for employees to work with peace of mind.

From 2023 - 2025, the Trade Union has organized many regular and annual supplementary activities for members and employees such as celebrating birthdays; supporting difficult circumstances; visiting sick people, giving wedding gifts; giving gifts on holidays and Tet; Spending on severance pay, retirement... with a total amount of over 55 billion VND.

The unit also promoted social and charity activities such as contributing to the "For the Poor" fund and the "Golden Heart of Can Tho Trade Union" fund. Every year, medical examinations are organized for the poor in remote areas. In August 2025 alone, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Company in collaboration with the Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association, the Journey of Love Sowing Fund, the Youth Union of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the People's Committee of Vinh Long province organized medical examinations, distributed medicine and presented gifts to 1,700 people with revolutionary contributions in Vinh Long.

The movement to promote innovation initiatives at work is a strength of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical, with the participation of many members and employees. Every year, the unit has an average of 100 innovative and thematic initiatives recognized by the Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Council and awarded billions of VND.

Towards the new term, with the slogan of action of the Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Trade Union "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development" for the benefit of union members and employees, the unit has identified many specific goals, directions, tasks and targets.

Regarding the general goals and directions for the new term, Mr. Vo Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company - emphasized that the unit will maintain existing activities, promote the achieved results; Continue to protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees, care for employees according to the motto "For a healthier life". At the same time, focus on innovating the organization and operation of the Trade Union in the direction of practical and effective practice, clearly defining key tasks, enhancing the development of union members' interests...

Evaluating the activities of the Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company Trade Union in the past term, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged the spirit of effort, creativity and determination of the Executive Committee and employees at the unit.

Accordingly, Trade Union activities have achieved many outstanding results, typically the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has always been well implemented, contributing to significantly improving the material and spiritual life of workers. In the new term, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation hopes that the Trade Union will continue to inherit and promote its achievements, maintaining its role as a reliable support for union members and workers.
