Grassroots trade unions hold a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20
HCMC - The grassroots trade union organized a meeting and presented gifts to 179 female workers on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
On October 20, the Trade Union of Ba Ria Urban Services Joint Stock Company announced that it had organized a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 among union members and workers with the theme "Brilliant Fragrance - Whole Love".
The meeting was also attended by leaders of the People's Committee and organizations of Ba Ria ward; leaders of enterprises and all officers, workers and laborers at work.
The delegates reviewed the glorious tradition and good qualities of Vietnamese women through the ages; affirmed the great role of women in labor, building and developing society. On this occasion, the company's leaders congratulated and presented gifts to female delegates and 179 female union members and workers.
The meeting program also included a talk on the topic "Gender equality, marriage, family and society" shared by Dr. Bui Nghia - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Socio-Economics and Environment, Regional Academy of Politics II, providing many useful and practical information.
According to the Organizing Committee, in addition to the celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, the meeting program is an opportunity for cadres, workers and employees of Ba Ria Urban Services Joint Stock Company to exchange, connect, arouse pride and striving spirit, continue to promote their role and capacity, and contribute to the common development of the unit and the locality.
