Grassroots trade unions in Ho Chi Minh City present gifts to 150 disadvantaged households in Mau Lam commune, Thanh Hoa province
HCMC - Trade Union officials of Cua Y - A Chau Technology Company Limited have returned to Mau Lam commune, Thanh Hoa province to provide support to 150 disadvantaged households.
In Mau Lam commune, the Trade Union of Cua Y - A Chau Technology Company Limited (Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) presented 150 gifts to households in the commune (each gift worth one million VND). Of which, there are 111 poor households, 19 households in special difficulty due to illness and 20 households isolated due to flooding in Tron village, Phu Son village.
The delegation also directly visited and provided support to 4 households in especially difficult circumstances such as: the household of Ms. Quach Thi Dao (in Dong Moc village), the family of only two mother and child, mother with serious illness and bedridden; the household of Ms. Bui Thi Mien (in Tam Tien village) with serious illness and bedriddenness; the household of Ms. Le Thi Suot (in Phu Nhuan village) raising young children and taking care of her mentally ill sister; the family of Mr. Truong Van Tap (in Dong Sinh village), both father and child are sick and have a very difficult life.
The gifts contain sincere feelings, expressing the precious traditional spirit of the Vietnamese people of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".

Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Cua It - Ahoa Technology Company Limited shared: "When we heard that Thanh Hoa province, especially the people of Mau Lam commune, was heavily affected by storm No. 10, our collective of cadres, union members, and workers of the company were very moved. We hope to share some of the difficulties. I hope everyone has more faith and determination to rise up in life".
Previously, following the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the grassroots Trade Union recommended that the company spend nearly 1 billion VND to support people affected by floods. The grassroots trade union transferred 300 million VND to the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. The unit coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province to present support to 500 households in Tuong Linh and Nong Cong communes with an amount of 500 million VND. In addition, the delegation also came to support 33 households in Bat Mot commune, each household 600,000 VND, the total support amount was 19.8 million VND.
