Police are ready to donate blood to save people in critical health condition

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, officers and soldiers of Binh Son Commune Police (Quang Ngai Province) have just promptly blood donated to save the lives of 2 patients being treated at Da Nang City Hospital.

Previously, on the morning of January 21, the unit received information from relatives of the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cong (86 years old, residing in Binh Son commune) who was being treated at Nui Thanh General Hospital (Da Nang City) and urgently needed 2 units of group B blood for treatment.

Faced with the critical situation, the patient's family contacted the Binh Son Commune Police (Quang Ngai Province) for support. After receiving the information, the commander of Binh Son Commune Police directly notified the entire unit, encouraging officers and soldiers with appropriate blood types to be ready to participate in blood donation.

Immediately afterwards, Lieutenant Colonel Doan Vu Trung Viet - Deputy Head of Binh Son Commune Police directly used personal vehicles, along with Captain Le Dinh An, to quickly go to Nui Thanh General Hospital (Da Nang City) to donate blood.

Thanks to the timely blood donation of the two comrades, the patient overcame the dangerous stage and continued to be monitored and treated in depth.

Next, Binh Son Commune Police also received information that Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (63 years old, residing in Binh Son Commune) is also being treated at Nui Thanh General Hospital (Da Nang City) and urgently needs 2 units of group A blood.

Lieutenant Nguyen Chi Nguyen and Senior Lieutenant Phan Thanh Nhon (Binh Son Commune Police) reported to the commander and were allowed to quickly arrive at the hospital to participate in blood donation, contributing to saving the patient's life.

Recently, during the process of moving after being discharged from the hospital, a patient on dialysis suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness on National Highway 20 and was promptly supported by the Traffic Police (Lam Dong Provincial Police) and brought home safely.

Accordingly, at 10:10 on January 17, 2026, while performing patrol, control, and ensuring traffic order and safety on National Highway 20, the Patrol and Control Team of Madaguoi Traffic Police Station - Traffic Police Department (Lam Dong Provincial Police) received a report from the people about an elderly woman who was stunned and unconscious while being driven by her daughter on a motorbike on the road.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Working Group used a special vehicle to approach the scene, organize initial support and care and bring Ms. Ka Nhim (born in 1952, permanent resident of Di Linh commune, Lam Dong province) and her daughter home safely.

According to information, Ms. Ka Nhim is a patient with periodic dialysis at Lam Dong General Hospital II. On the way home, when she reached Km133, National Highway 20, due to poor health, she suddenly became dizzy, tired and unconscious.

Thanks to the timely and dedicated support of the Traffic Police force, Ms. Ka Nhim's health has gradually stabilized. The patient's family also expressed their emotions and expressed their deep gratitude to the officers and soldiers who did not mind the difficulties and quickly helped during the critical period.
