Police quickly verified and returned more than 18 million VND to the person who dropped it
An Giang - The wallet collector brought it to Phu Tan Commune Police for help in finding the person who dropped the property.
On the morning of August 7, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien (residing in Trung 3 Hamlet, Phu Tan Commune, An Giang) picked up a wallet in front of her shop. Inside the wallet, there were more than 18 million VND and many personal documents, Ms. Hien brought them to Phu Tan Commune Police for help in finding the person who dropped the property.
After receiving the property, the Commune Police quickly verified and contacted the person who lost the property, Ms. Bui Thi Thu Nam (born in 1964, residing in Trung 3 Hamlet). At 9:45 a.m. the same day, Ms. Nam went to the commune police headquarters to receive the property. Ms. Nam happily sent her thanks to the person who picked up the wallet and brought it to the police and the police force for timely and quick support.
Phu Tan Commune Police said that the quick and accurate verification demonstrates the effectiveness of the National Population Database, contributing to improving the quality of security and order assurance in the locality.
