Deputy Director of the Public Security is Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Air Defense Steering Committee
The Deputy Director of the provincial police is the Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Air Defense Steering Committee, according to the Decree effective from August 22.
Decree No. 198/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on People's Air Defense, effective from August 22, 2025.
According to Clause 3, Article 7 of the Decree, the organizational structure of the Provincial People's Air Defense Steering Committee is as follows:
a) The head of the Steering Committee is a Vice Chairman of the People's Committee.
b) Deputy Head of the Steering Committee
The Deputy Head of the Standing Committee is the Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command or the Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command or the Commander of the Military Command;
The Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is a Deputy Director of the Public Security.
c) Member of the Steering Committee
Commander of the regional defense command, Commander of the Border Guard Command under the Military Command;
A leader of the Departments: Home Affairs, Finance, Education and Training, Health, Construction, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Industry and Trade and Chief of the Office of the People's Committee;
A leader of the Provincial Vietnam Veterans Association, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Vietnam Women's Union, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union;
Some officers of the Hanoi Capital Command, Ho Chi Minh City Command, and Military Command.
