The art program with the theme " Pioneering Aspiration - Stepping forward to the future" organized by the City Labor Federation will take place on the evening of January 3, 2026 at Tran Nhan Tong walking street.
This is a program to successfully celebrate the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Previously, on the evening of December 31, 2025, the Hanoi City Labor Federation coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh commune to organize an art program to successfully celebrate the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and New Year 2026.
The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh commune; a large number of employees and people in Dong Anh commune and neighboring localities.
Here, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy quickly informed about the results of the 18th Hanoi City Labor Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress will take place on December 29-30, 2025. This is an important political event, a big festival for cadres, union members and employees of the capital; marking a new development step of the employees movement and the Hanoi Trade Union in the cause of building and developing a civilized and modern capital.
550 delegates representing the will, aspirations and beliefs of more than 580 thousand union members of the Capital attended the Congress.
With the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress focused on comprehensively and objectively assessing the results of Trade Union activities and the labor movement in the period of 2023 - 2025; frankly pointing out the shortcomings and limitations, clarifying the causes and drawing important lessons for the coming term.
The Congress identified 10 target groups, including 5 target groups to be implemented by the end of the term, 3 strategic breakthroughs and 7 key group solutions to create a foundation to build a strong and comprehensive Capital Trade Union, accompanying the Capital and the country to enter the new era.
The Congress democratically elected 50 members to the Executive Committee of the 18th City Labor Federation; elected 14 members to the Standing Committee. Mr. Nguyen Van Thang was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, term XVIII. Mr. and Mrs. Le Dinh Hung, Nguyen Huy Khanh, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy were re-elected, holding the position of Vice President of the 18th City Labor Federation. The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, bringing the belief, expectations and responsibility of the Capital's employees...
