Union meal for 1,400 workers processing seafood for export

At noon on August 19, the Trade Union of Hai Nam Company Limited organized a "Union Meal" for 1,400 union members and employees of the company.

The activity aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).

In the warm atmosphere, workers and laborers enjoyed a special meal with an increase of 50,000 VND/meal.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union - emphasized that "Union Meal" is not just a simple meal but also a heart, a sentiment of the trade union organization for union members and workers.

The leaders of the Ward Union and the Executive Committee of the grassroots Union sat together to eat, visit, and listen to the thoughts of the workers.

Mr. Le Van Hien - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hai Nam Company Limited - said that due to the nature of the seafood processing industry, the production coordination department will arrange for workers to process all the seafood between 11am and 11:30am to go to lunch.

The dishes in the Union Meal were suggested by the Executive Committee of the grassroots Union, then let the kitchen cook them first to try and choose the best and most suitable dish to cook for workers and laborers.

On this occasion, the company's Trade Union presented birthday gifts to union members who had birthdays in August.

The Union Meal is an opportunity for business leaders to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, contributing to building an increasingly better working environment.

Currently, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union manages 39 grassroots trade unions, with more than 4,700 union members and workers.
