The Quang Tri Industrial Park Trade Union grasps the labor situation at enterprises

On August 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that the leaders of the Industrial Park Trade Union Board had worked with the Gio Linh Garment and Trading Joint Stock Company's grassroots trade union to grasp the situation of workers and trade union activities.

Here, leaders of the Industrial Park Trade Union and the working union listened to a report on the living conditions, employment of workers and the results of union activities in the past time.

According to the company's Trade Union, the enterprise currently has more than 500 employees, including 334 union members, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinated with the company's leaders to pay attention to the material and spiritual life of workers.

Average income reaches over VND6 million/person/month; workers are supported with VND25,000/meal shift; support for diligence, fuel, housing, as well as separate policies for female workers raising young children according to the Collective Labor Agreement.

The salary, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes are fully and promptly implemented, creating a bond between employees and the enterprise.

At the meeting, the working group also instructed the Trade Union of Gio Linh Garment and Trading Joint Stock Company to complete the Executive Committee, the Trade Union Inspection Committee; and mobilize union members when the factory expands

At the same time, maintain a network of occupational safety and hygiene workers, meeting the aspirations of union members and workers in the coming time.
