Ms. Huynh Thi Pho re-elected as Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Bich Chi Company, Dong Thap

In the 2023 - 2025 term, the Trade Union of Bich Chi Food Joint Stock Company has done a good job of taking care of union members, notably introducing 125 union members to borrow more than 2 billion VND from CEP to develop the family economy.

Welfare activities are maintained regularly, including giving gifts to female union members on March 8 and October 20 with a total cost of more than 100 million VND; giving gifts to union members' children on the occasion of Children's International and Mid-Autumn Festival with a total cost of nearly 70 million VND.

The grassroots trade union mobilizes union members to contribute to the Trade Union Shelter Fund and coordinates the construction of 2 Trade Union Shelters for union members in difficult circumstances. Union member development work achieved positive results with 158 new union members, bringing the total to 709 people; promoting the application of software and issuing cards to the majority of union members.

The Congress set out 18 targets and 4 breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, the key target is to focus on propaganda, developing union members, negotiating - signing collective labor agreements, improving the quality of union officials, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, promoting emulation movements, and developing cultural enterprises.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results that the Company's Trade Union has achieved in the past term, especially the proactiveness in coordinating with businesses, effectively implementing the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

Mr. Tuan suggested that the new Executive Board continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner; focus on improving the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining; strengthen supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies directly related to employees.

Trade Unions need to proactively participate in building a civilized and stable working environment; promote patriotic emulation movements associated with the production and business tasks of enterprises, creating motivation to improve productivity, quality and sustainable development.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Bich Chi Food Joint Stock Company, term XXI, consisting of 7 members. Ms. Huynh Thi Pho was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
