Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan becomes Chairman of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones
Dong Thap - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan was appointed as Chairman of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, term I, 2025-2030.
On the afternoon of December 2, at the My Tho Ward Cultural House, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones held the 1st Executive Committee Conference (expanded), term 2025-2030. Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Member of the Provincial Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; President of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (VFF) and 112 delegates.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", after listening to a summary report on the draft report on the process of establishing the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones and the direction of tasks, term 2025 - 2030, the Conference discussed and agreed to approve the report, direction, and targets for the next term.
Along with that, the decisions of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee on appointing personnel for the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, term 2025 - 2030 and the decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee on allocating delegates to attend the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee (15 members), the Standing Committee (5 members) and the Inspection Committee (5 members) and the positions of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, term I, 2025-2030 was announced. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Trade Union Department of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones. Mr. Tu Van Dung - Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
On this occasion, the conference listened to the opinions and discussions of delegates, thereby sharing with the conference the results achieved by the facility in the past time, helping delegates gain more information and experience in the process of implementing the Resolution of the Trade Union Conference of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui suggested that the conference promote democracy, work seriously and responsibly, thereby discussing and reaching a high consensus on goals, targets, tasks, sudden steps and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Ms. Vui believes that the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones will continue to promote its role as a trusted representative of workers; innovate the content and methods of operation; thereby helping to improve the material and spiritual life of workers in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones also received support of over 3.3 billion VND from businesses to finance for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
