Warm Union Meal for nearly 3,000 workers in Lam Dong
Lam Dong - The grassroots trade union organized a trade union meal for union members and workers with nearly 3,000 meals.
On August 30, the Trade Union of Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited said that the unit had organized a Trade Union Meal for nearly 3,000 union members and workers of the shoe manufacturing company.
In the joyful atmosphere, workers and laborers enjoy meals including many main dishes such as chicken thighs, stuffed tofu, steamed shrimp, stir-fried and dessert bird's nest water, worth 55,000 VND/meal.
Of which, the company's part is 22,000 VND/tael, the union supports an additional 33,000 VND/tael.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, local leaders and Chairmen of grassroots trade unions sat down to eat, visit, and listen to the thoughts of workers.
Due to the nature of the production work, workers divide their lunch time. "I hope that the union will maintain the Union Meal program so that workers have more delicious, quality meals, everyone is happy" - worker Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Loan - Deputy General Director of Production said that after the Union Meal, every worker was excited.
Hopefully, the union will organize more quality meals like this every quarter and every month so that workers have more joy and feel the attention from the union and the enterprise.
"Union Meal" is held right at the workplace, in an intimate atmosphere, further demonstrating practical concern for the lives of workers.
This is not just a meal but also an opportunity for leaders of trade unions, authorities, businesses and workers to sit together, share and listen between all parties.
