The Trade Union of IKO Thompson Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in 2012. After 3 congresses, from the initial 165 union members, up to now, the Company's Trade Union has a total of 906 union members, of which 620 are female union members (accounting for 68.4%).

For the 2024-2025 term, the company's Trade Union has done a good job of caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members and workers. exercising the right to negotiate, the Trade Union has signed the collective labor agreement twice, the current version is effective until September 2027, including 25 provisions that are beneficial to employees such as: 13th month salary bonus, 2 days off on Saturdays/month, company establishment day off, diligence bonus, position, seniority, travel... 100% of employees are allowed to sign contracts and fully participate in social insurance, receive an average salary increase of 7.3%/year; the input salary is 19.6% higher than the regional minimum wage...

The Company's Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to supervise 7 shift meals and negotiate to adjust the meal allowance twice. The value of meals is increased from 22,000 VND to 25,000 VND/meal for the day shift and 70,000 VND/meal for the night shift. People who work overtime for 2 hours or more are supported with 12,00020,000 VND/meal...

For the 2025-2030 term, the IKO Thompson Company Limited Trade Union sets out 9 key targets and tasks: 100% of employees at the company are union members, admitted immediately after signing an official labor contract. The trade union maintains a type A collective labor agreement, striving to add at least 2-3 new provisions that are more beneficial to employees than those prescribed by law in the following negotiations. At least 80% of union members participate in forms of learning to improve their educational qualifications and professional skills; strive to have at least 250 innovative initiatives recognized and applied in production, benefiting the company, 5-10 topics receive the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 4th term of 2025-2030 consisting of 7 members, electing 1 delegate to attend the first City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and giving a speech directing the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the City Labor Federation praised the achieved results, solidarity, creativity, and efforts to overcome difficulties of the collective of cadres, union members, and workers of the company in the past term. At the same time, it was noted that the preparation for the Congress was carried out seriously, thoughtfully, and in accordance with regulations, creating an exciting atmosphere among union members and workers.

Immediately after the Congress, the Chairman of the City Labor Federation proposed that the new Executive Committee hold a first meeting to elect key positions, assign tasks, develop operating regulations and focus on implementing 5 key groups of tasks. In particular, continuing to put the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers first, focusing on improving the quality of dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements, affirming the outstanding value when workers join the Trade Union. The Trade Union proactively accompanies businesses to improve the quality of human resources; strongly innovate propaganda work and methods of operation towards the grassroots, starting from the practical needs of union members...
