Lam Dong - The Trade Union of Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited has built a strong team, with 100% of workers voluntarily joining the organization.
On November 3, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced that the Trade Union of Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Limited Liability Company had just successfully and successfully organized the Trade Union Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The company is a foreign-invested enterprise specializing in large-scale shoe production in Nam Ha Industrial Park. In recent times, the enterprise has created jobs for thousands of workers in Tra Tan commune and neighboring areas.
Despite many fluctuations in domestic production and business situations, the company continues to expand its supply chain, ensuring stable orders and income for workers.
After establishing the grassroots Trade Union in July 2023, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union focused on taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers, organizing Trade Union Meals, improving the quality of shift meals and especially promoting the development of union members.
Mr. Le Trong Thai - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union - said that the unit has mobilized workers to clearly understand their rights and obligations when participating in the trade union, thereby voluntarily joining the organization.
In the past 2 years, the Union has admitted 2,562 new union members, received 743 transferred union members, bringing the total number of union members to 3,305 people - all workers of the company.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - praised the outstanding results in caring for and developing union members of the unit.
He suggested that in the new term, the Trade Union should continue to coordinate with business leaders to improve working conditions, organize healthy playgrounds, encourage emulation movements, and contribute to building a sustainable development unit.
At the Congress, delegates voted to elect the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Limited Liability Company for the 2025 - 2030 term.
In which, Mr. Le Trong Thai continued to be elected as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
