100% of ward, commune and special zone trade unions have completed the 2025 - 2030 term conference

On November 6, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that up to now, 100% (145/145) of trade unions of wards, communes and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City have completed organizing trade union delegation conferences for the 2025 - 2030 term. It is expected that the first Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term will take place on December 26 and 27, 2025.

Ms. Loan also said that the conferences of ward, commune and special zone trade unions have evaluated the results of activities since their establishment. Although the time from the establishment to the conference was still very short, only a few months, the trade unions of wards, communes and special zones quickly stabilized their organization, closely following the locality, organizing many core activities of the trade union organization such as propaganda, dissemination, and education of the Party's guidelines and policies, State laws, and regulations of the trade union organization for union members and workers.

At the same time, there are many activities to represent and protect the rights, care for the lives of union members and workers, support grassroots unions, develop union members, and establish grassroots unions.

At the same time, trade unions of wards, communes and special zones also actively, responsibly and effectively participate in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the same level, coordinating smoothly with socio-political organizations at the same level to carry out local political tasks.

The trade union conferences of wards, communes and special zones also listened to and synthesized comments from union officials, union members and workers, discussed and agreed on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the new term, closely following the actual situation, with high feasibility to effectively implement in the next term.

The conferences also approved the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to appoint the executive committee and personnel of the ward, commune and special zone trade unions for the 2025-2030 term. Thereby, quickly stabilizing the organization and operation of ward, commune and special zone trade unions in Ho Chi Minh City.
