Bringing drug prevention and control knowledge to workers in Thuan An

The program to propagate drug prevention and control for workers takes place at Prime Facade Construction and Materials Joint Stock Company (Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the Thuan An Ward Trade Union, this is one of the activities to implement Resolution No. 16-NQ/DU dated January 9, 2026 of the Thuan An Ward Party Committee on improving the effectiveness of drug crime prevention and control; striving to build a drug-free Thuan An ward by 2030.

At the propaganda session, workers were provided by police officers with basic knowledge about the harms of drugs, the dangers, and methods of luring and enticement to use drugs.

Workers are also raised awareness of the responsibility of each individual in proactively preventing, detecting and combating drug-related acts. At the same time, do not use and do not assist in violations of the law on drugs.

Thuan An Ward Trade Union said that previously, the unit also organized the above activity at the grassroots Trade Union of An Thanh People's Credit Fund. Propaganda activities contribute to building a safe, healthy working environment without drugs. This activity also contributes to raising the awareness of law compliance and responsibility of workers towards themselves, their families and the community.
