Giving support from the "Connecting Love" fund to union members in difficult circumstances in Dong Nai
Dong Nai - On March 28, the Trade Union of New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that it had provided support to union members in difficult circumstances from the "Connecting Love" fund.
The female union member in difficulty who received support is Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Yen, working at the factory of New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu commune, Dong Nai province).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of the company said that through grasping information, the CĐCS learned that Ms. Yen's family is in difficult circumstances, does not have a stable house. Meanwhile, Ms. Yen's 3 children are still young. Among them, the eldest child, 14 years old, just had an accident and is being treated for rehabilitation. The youngest daughter, 4 years old, also has a congenital disease that requires regular treatment.
The grassroots trade union has allocated 5 million VND from the "Connecting Love" fund to support Ms. Yen's family. Through this sharing, the grassroots trade union hopes to add motivation for Ms. Yen's family and children to overcome difficulties" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi, currently the grassroots trade union is continuing to implement "Raising piggy banks - sending love". The money collected from raising piggy banks will be put into the "Connecting Love" fund to support union members in difficult circumstances.
It is known that the "Connecting Love" fund has been operating since 2018, and so far has mobilized support for 28 union members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 1.4 billion VND.
