The General Confederation of Labor supports workers in Lam Dong province affected by floods with 1 billion VND

On November 26, in Lam Vien - Da Lat ward, Lam Dong province, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor had a working session with the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.

Here, Mr. Xuan grasped the situation of union members, workers and trade union activities in this province after the merger of provincial-level administrative units and the operation of local governments at two levels.

Mr. Xuan paid special attention to visiting and sharing the difficulties, losses and losses of union members, workers and their families affected by the recent floods.

Here, Mr. Xuan also directed the local Trade Union to continue to closely monitor the area and facilities, grasping the number of union members and workers affected by floods. From there, the union promptly encouraged them to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives to continue working and producing.

Mr. Xuan emphasized that the Trade Union organization continues to accompany businesses and units to overcome the consequences, soon restore production and business, create jobs and stable income for workers after storms and floods.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan presented 1 billion VND to support union members and workers in the province who suffered losses due to floods.

Receiving support, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - on behalf of union members and workers, thanked the General Confederation for its timely attention, sharing and encouragement.

Mr. Hoang also pledged that the unit will deploy to the grassroots trade union to review, select and provide support to the right subjects, ensuring timely and meaningful delivery to union members and workers.
