Tet Sum Vay spreads love to workers in the Vietnam Railways industry
Quang Tri - In the afternoon of January 27, at La Khe Station Area, the Corporation and the Vietnam Railway Trade Union jointly organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" in 2026.
Attending the program were leaders of the Party Committee of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), VNR Trade Union; professional leaders, trade unions of railway units in Vinh area and a large number of employees of the units.
At La Khe Station Area, Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" in 2026 to care for the lives of workers, serve transportation and ensure security and safety during the 2026 Lunar New Year. In particular, the program focuses on caring for workers in difficult circumstances, production teams during Tet, with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet".
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tat Thuong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of Vietnam Railways Corporation sent his regards and deep gratitude to the employees of the units who made efforts to excellently complete their tasks in 2025. He also thanked the employees for their contributions to the development of the Corporation, and shared about the production and business situation and development orientation of Vietnam Railways Corporation in 2026.
He emphasized that Vietnam Railways Corporation will continue to focus on improving the material and spiritual life of employees, especially during the Lunar New Year. In addition, he encouraged employees to continue to strive to excellently complete targets and tasks, contributing to the development goals of the railway industry in the new year.
At the program, Vietnam Railways Corporation presented gifts to employees of affiliated units with a total amount of more than 357 million VND, supported 74 million VND for stations under the Nghe Tinh Railway Branch to organize Tet Sum vay for employees. Next, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union and professional departments donated more than 115 million VND to support visits and gifts for employees at 4 units in the La Khe station area.
Within the framework of the program, the Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch organized the 2026 Khe Net Pass area worker volleyball tournament, and also organized a reunion year-end party for union members and workers at La Khe Station and units in the Khe Net Pass railway area.
