Sakurai Vietnam presents more than 180 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances
Thanh Hoa - Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union presented more than 180 gifts worth 180 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On September 15, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that recently, the unit has organized a gift-giving program to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses and cases affected by the recent storm No. 5.
At the programs, 80 union members with serious illnesses received support with a total cost of 137 million VND.
In addition, 20 union members in difficult circumstances were presented with gifts worth 20 million VND by Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. In addition, 23 gifts to support damage caused by storm No. 5 (including 18 initial gifts and 5 additional gifts) were also given, with a total amount of 23 million VND.
The program is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and practical concern of the Trade Union and enterprises for the lives of union members and workers, especially in the context of natural disasters, diseases and mounting difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared: "We hope that although the gifts are not of great value, they will contribute to motivating union members and workers to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
