Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor visits and supports union members affected by landslides

On the morning of October 8, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, President of the Labor Federation of Dong Thap province - visited and encouraged union members of the Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company affected by landslides in Cao Lanh ward.

The two union members who received support were Mr. Lam Van Phuc (Worker at Enterprise 3) and Mr. Luong Hoai Nam (Worker at the Forward).

In the last days of September 2025, the area along the Tien River - where the two families lived - experienced serious landslides, causing damage to houses and land, forcing households to urgently evacuate to ensure safety.

At the place visited, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - visited the living conditions, shared the difficulties and losses that union members and their families are facing; presented a support level of 2 million VND/person from the provincial Trade Union's financial resources.

Ms. Vui encouraged union members to quickly overcome difficulties, stabilize their housing, continue to work with peace of mind, stick with the enterprise and trust in the care and support of the Trade Union organization.

The timely visit and support activities of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor demonstrate the spirit of affection and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers; contributing to spreading the message "Trade Union - a support for workers in all circumstances".
