Over 5 billion VND to take care of female and children at Tuy Phong Garment Factory
Lam Dong - Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union has had many activities to better care for female workers and their children.
On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union, in Lien Huong Commune, Lam Dong Province - said that the unit currently has more than 2,100 employees. Of which, over 82% are women.
"Therefore, trade union activities are always oriented to care for female workers and their children. This activity is to help women both complete their tasks at the factory and take care of their families, Mr. Nguyen Hoa shared.
According to Mr. Hoa, the Executive Committee of the Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise Trade Union is often close to and grasps the thoughts and aspirations of female workers. From there, promptly reflect and coordinate with the Board of Directors of the enterprise to ensure legitimate rights and interests, and take better care of union members.
Notably, in the period of 2023-2025, the union gave gifts on the occasion of March 8, organizing birthdays for more than 6,000 female union members and workers.
When union members are sick or have family anniversaries, the union visits them in time. Cases with serious illnesses and those affected by natural disasters will also be launched to contribute additional support.
During this period, Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise Trade Union also mobilized social resources to build 4 "Union Shelters" for female workers; organized tours to Da Lat for women; maintained the annual "Family Day" program for the Lunar New Year with many meaningful exchange and award activities.
For children of union members, the union organizes Tet gifts for children on June 1, Mid-Autumn Festival, awards scholarships to students in difficult circumstances and rewards them for their good academic achievements. The total budget for mobilizing and spending on activities reached more than 5 billion VND.
Currently, the union and the Board of Directors of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise are continuing to mobilize resources, carefully prepare to give gifts and organize exchange programs with many meaningful rewards for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, said Mr. Nguyen Hoa.
