More than 2,000 union members in Nghe An receive free medical examination and treatment for one month
Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented a series of activities to care for union members such as free medical examination and treatment for 2,000 people, supporting 109 cases of damage caused by storm No. 10.
On November 18, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor said that over the past month, the unit has implemented many activities to practically care for union members and workers in enterprises and industrial parks.
The Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Public Security to organize free medical examination and treatment for 2,000 union members and workers; support 109 union members who suffered property damage due to storm No. 10 with a total amount of 220 million VND; visit 5 cases in especially difficult circumstances.
Legal consultancy continues to be promoted, with 16 groups and individuals supported through many forms such as in person, by phone, press and television. The Provincial Federation of Labor also guides the two grassroots trade unions to negotiate and sign a new Collective Labor Agreement at Zonsen Packaging Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Nghe An Industrial Park and Fuwing Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The unit participated in inspection teams to grasp the implementation of laws and labor relations at enterprises; coordinate with the Working Group to work with employers on social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance contributions; and at the same time, give comments and reviews on 3 drafts related to the labor and trade sector.
The above activities contribute to improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers in the province.
