More than 2 billion VND in scholarships for children of union members and workers in Vinh Long

According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, in the third quarter of 2025, the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers continued to receive special attention from the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Notably, the Provincial Federation of Labor has handed over 26 "Union Shelters" to union members, cadres and civil servants with difficult housing circumstances in Tra Vinh province (before the merger). This is practical support, helping union members stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded difficulties to 84 union members with a total amount of 42 million VND, showing sharing and timely encouragement for union members to overcome difficulties.

Many grassroots trade unions have also proactively carried out activities to care for union members and workers. In which, the Trade Union of My Phong Leather Shoes Company Limited coordinated with the Board of Directors of the company to award 1,504 scholarships to children of union members and workers, with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND. The Trade Union of Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment & Production Joint Stock Company also implemented a scholarship awarding program, with 986 scholarships for children of union members and workers with a total amount of more than 804 million VND.

In addition, the CEP Vinh Long Branch Fund has coordinated with 16 Trade Unions to implement a loan program for 409 union members and workers with a total amount of more than 9.3 billion VND, helping union members have more financial resources to stabilize their lives.
