Over 1.1 billion VND to support loans for union members in difficult circumstances in Van Don
Quang Ninh - In 2025, the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union supported preferential loans for 39 union members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 1.1 billion VND.
On January 6, the Executive Committee of the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union held a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) and trade union activities in 2025; deploy tasks for 2026.
Currently, the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union is managing 84 grassroots trade unions with 2,401 union members.
The lives and jobs of workers are basically stable, with an average income of 78 million VND/person/month.
Trade unions at all levels have played a good role in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; coordinated to organize conferences of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and labor conferences to achieve 100% of the plan; signed 6 new collective labor agreements, exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial Federation of Labor.

The work of caring for and welfare for union members and workers continues to be a highlight with many practical activities such as the "Tet Sum Vay" program, supporting preferential loans for 39 union members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 1.1 billion VND; visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficulty, units on duty for Tet, and families affected by natural disasters.
Patriotic emulation movements and cultural and sports activities are being vigorously implemented, attracting a large number of employees to participate, contributing to creating an emulation atmosphere for production labor in the entire special zone.
In 2026, trade unions at all levels will continue to closely follow the theme of the year's work; focus on propaganda, dissemination and effective implementation of resolutions of Party congresses and trade union congresses at all levels; promote care for the lives and protection of workers' rights; continue to develop union members, improve the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
On this occasion, the Van Don Social Insurance Trade Union received the Flag "Excellent grassroots trade union leading the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2025" from the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Many other collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor and Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Van Don Special Zone.
