Nam Dương (báo lao động) 05/03/2026 17:56 (GMT+7)

On March 4, Binh Tan Technology Motorbike Taxi Union, Ho Chi Minh City, CEP Microfinance Organization and AIZEN Credit Company (Korea) signed a cooperation memorandum to support union members to borrow capital with deferred payment and preferential interest rates to convert from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric vehicles.

Accordingly, Binh Tan Technology Motorbike Taxi Union will provide information and guarantees for drivers to access preferential loans with low interest rates, a 12-month deferred payment period provided by CEP to buy electric vehicles to replace gasoline vehicles.

AIZEN Credit Company will provide electric motorbikes, support interest-free or preferential car loan policies for union members. At the same time, the company will train users, provide technical information and after-sales, warranty, and car maintenance services according to manufacturer standards.

Mr. Le Tan Luu - Chairman of Binh Tan Technology Motorbike Taxi Union - said that the union currently has more than 1,600 members, most of whom use gasoline-powered motorbikes to serve customers. Many union members have a need to switch from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric vehicles to save costs and contribute to the implementation of the State's green transformation policy, but face difficulties in capital to buy vehicles.

Being supported with deferred loans with preferential interest rates or interest rate support will help union members have favorable conditions to switch cars, both increasing income and implementing the State's green transformation policy" - Mr. Luu said.

Mr. Hoang Van Thanh - Chairman of the Member Council of CEP - said that CEP was founded by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation with the goal of supporting poor workers to access capital sources with preferential interest rates to improve their lives. Over 35 years of operation, CEP has actively contributed to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and social security work by providing practical and effective financial and non-financial services.
