Thanh Da Summer Camp in 2025 has the theme "Proud to be a bamboo shoots of Ho Chi Minh City" for students who are children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in Ho Chi Minh City from 10-15 years old with good academic achievements, good care, and good conduct in the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Students participated in activities such as thematic activities applying artificial intelligence AI in designing learning products, daily activities, personal images; practicing virtual reality technology experience space, space for scientific application, space for experiencing creative game models, space for programming robot control, supercar, water missile design and firing contest; participating in Thanh Da Football Cup; tug of war games, sack jumping. This is a traditional annual activity to build a useful and healthy play space for children of workers and civil servants in the summer. The special feature of the summer camp in 2025 is that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union support 100% of the cost of participating in the Summer Camp for 400 children of union members, children of workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances, who have overcome difficulties to study well in districts 1, 5, 6, 8, 12, Binh Tan Tan, Tan Phu, Binh Thanh, Thu Duc city, the City Export Processing - Industrial Zones Trade Union, the City Party Agencies Trade Union; the City People's Committee Trade Union; children of union members affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
For workers and civil servants whose children are supported 100% of the cost, this is the concern for them, so that they have more determination and confidence to better perform the work they are doing.
This year's Thanh Da Summer Camp is expected to attract nearly 2,000 children to participate. The activities of the Summer Camp will help children practice self-management, be proactive in studying, being creative and participating in group activities. Moreover, the Summer Camp also creates conditions for students to improve their practical skills and protect the surrounding environment.
