Hai Phong starts construction of a worker accommodation project worth over VND2,200 billion

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Anh Quan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, emphasized that the Laguna Heyner accommodation project (phase 1) is a special project to successfully celebrate the City Party Congress; one of the first projects to realize the content of the Resolution of the First City Party Congress, which is to complete 32,900 social housing units in the 2025-2030 term.

In order for the project to be completed soon and put into effective use, maximize investment efficiency and solve urgent housing needs, create safe, stable and comfortable living conditions for workers, thereby improving labor productivity and quality of life, on behalf of the city's leaders, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the investor to focus maximum resources, direct the contractors to fully comply with construction standards and regulations, ensure quality, labor safety and environmental protection; strive to complete the project on schedule, even exceeding the set schedule.

Investors organizing investment and construction of projects must ensure early investment in synchronous technical infrastructure and social infrastructure works, to ensure convenient and livable service for the lives and activities of workers and laborers. Along with that, research, calculate, propose selling prices and rental prices suitable to the average income of workers and laborers; public, open and transparent notification so that beneficiaries of the policy can easily access.

The Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board of relevant departments and branches and local authorities continue to accompany, support, and create the most favorable conditions for investors; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; ensure project implementation on schedule, set goals, achieve the highest efficiency in economy - society - environment, ensure security and safety during project implementation.

The Laguna Heyner accommodation project (phase 1) was invested in construction with the goal of building a worker accommodation to serve the housing needs of workers working in An Phat 1 industrial park, creating a civilized - safe - comfortable living space for the staff and workers working at Biel Crystal, improving the material and spiritual life of workers.

The project is built on a service land plot, An Phat 1 Industrial Park, National Highway 37, Tran Phu Commune, Hai Phong City. The construction area is 31,601 m2, of which phase 1 is 13,325 m2. The total investment is VND 2,215.2 billion from contributed capital of enterprises and other mobilized capital. Phase 1 is 701 billion VND.

The scale of the project is to build 5 20-storey dormitories, auxiliary areas and technical infrastructure to serve the housing needs of workers working in An Phat 1 industrial park. The implementation period is 3 years.
