Da Nang - Leaders of the Labor Federation and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City directly visit and give gifts to workers before getting on the bus to return home for Tet.
On February 13, Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the 2026 Trade Union Tet Journey program, in which "Trade Union Bus" takes place at Da Nang Exhibition Fair Center and "Trade Union Train" is organized at Da Nang Station and Tam Ky Station on February 13-14, 2026. The program aims to care for the lives of union members and workers during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

Before departure time, many workers could not hide their joy when receiving bus tickets to return to their hometown for Tet. Ms. Mai Thi Hanh - An Khe Trade Union member, shared that her family received 4 bus tickets in the Trade Union Bus Trip to Thanh Hoa to celebrate Tet with grandparents. "Just being able to reunite with family during Tet days is already very happy," Ms. Hanh said emotionally.
Sharing the joy, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quyet - a worker at Mien Trung Plastic Joint Stock Company, said that the "Trade Union Bus Trip" program not only helps his family reduce travel costs in the days leading up to Tet but also shows the practical concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization with workers far from home.
At the starting point, Ms. Tran Thi Man - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City and Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, directly visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to workers and laborers before departing to their hometowns for Tet, showing the timely concern and sharing of all levels towards union members and laborers far from home.

According to Mr. Le Van Dai - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City Labor Federation, this year the number of union members registering to participate in the program increased compared to previous years. After reviewing, there are about 3,300 union members and workers participating in 105 Trade Union bus trips. In addition, the City Labor Federation also arranged 1,400 free tickets under the "Trade Union Train" program to take workers to Ho Chi Minh City and northern provinces.
The total cost of implementing the two car and train programs during Tet this year is about 24 billion VND, from the trade union budget and the support of relevant units. The goal of the program is to help workers return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet safely and economically, and at the same time create conditions for them to return to Da Nang to continue working and be attached to businesses and the city for a long time," Mr. Dai said.
