Vinh Long - The housing support program for union members in difficult circumstances has achieved outstanding results with 99 newly built and repaired houses, exceeding the set plan by 247.5%.

According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2025, the Trade Union will focus on taking care of the lives, especially supporting safe housing for union members and workers facing housing difficulties in many localities across the province.

Trade unions at all levels have strongly implemented housing support programs, including charity houses and houses belonging to specialized support funds, to contribute to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and improving the quality of life.

According to the report, with the target of supporting at least 40 units, the union mobilized social resources and exceeded the level when supporting the construction of new units and repairing a total of 99 units for union members in difficulty.

The rate reached 247.5% compared to the set target. The above results are thanks to a careful review of actual needs, along with the support of businesses, organizations and philanthropists inside and outside the province.

The success of the program clearly demonstrates the role of the Trade Union in caring for the practical benefits of workers, contributing to strengthening trust and creating a sustainable social foundation for union members.

Each house that is handed over is a new source of confidence and motivation for union members, demonstrating responsible companionship and creating strong solidarity between the Trade Union organization and workers in the province.

According to the plan, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to develop specific plans to better care for union members' lives, especially the housing needs, through charity funds and social mobilization sources.
