Union donates 1,500 boxes of moon cakes to children of workers
Nghe An - Mareep Dien Chau Company Union presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts worth more than 300 million VND to union members' children.
On September 30, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation announced that the Trade Union of Mareep Dien Chau Company organized a donation of 1,500 boxes of moon cakes to children of union members and workers working at the company. The total value of the gifts is more than 300 million VND.
This is an annual activity organized by the grassroots union every Mid-Autumn Festival, to encourage the spirit and bring complete joy to children of workers and laborers, especially those in difficult circumstances who are studying in neighboring localities.
According to the union representative, in addition to taking care of working conditions and income, the spiritual life of workers and their families is also one of the key tasks that the union focuses on.
Although each cake box is not of great value, it shows concern, sharing, contributing to spreading the beauty of traditional culture and the solidarity between businesses - trade unions - workers.
