Quang Tri Trade Union organizes health check-ups and gives gifts to 150 workers
Quang Tri - The Provincial Trade Union has organized health check-ups, distributed free medicine and given many meaningful gifts to workers.
On the morning of May 31, at Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union and the Vinh Linh District Federation of Labor to organize a health examination and consultation program, giving free medicine to 150 workers on the occasion of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025.

Despite the day off, the medical team of Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital arrived early to examine the workers. Union officials also enthusiastically support the guidance and coordination of workers.

The examination includes general health check-up, general ultrasound, Eye, Ear - Nose - throat examination, gynecological examination and health consultation. Workers are also given free medicine and receive sponsored gifts from Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical Company Limited including shampoo, toothpaste, cleaning solution... each worth 150,000 VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Niem, a worker at Duc Hien Quang Tri One Member Co., Ltd., shared that the program is very meaningful, helping us detect the disease early if any so that we can work with peace of mind. Hopefully there will be more similar activities in the future.

At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 10 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, and are in especially difficult circumstances.
From the support of the Trade Union of Quang Tri Power Company, BIDV Bank and Quang Tri Telecommunications, 15 study corners worth 30 million VND were donated to children of workers in difficult circumstances, giving them more motivation to study.

In addition, from socialized sources, the Provincial Federation of Labor has donated 11 stone benches worth 8.5 million VND to Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital.
Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that the program is a highlight in the series of activities for Workers' Month. The Provincial Federation of Labor hopes to continue to receive support from businesses in taking care of the health and material and spiritual life of workers.
