Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union innovates operations to care for workers

The Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) was established in July 2025, currently managing 20 grassroots trade unions with more than 3,300 union members, mainly enterprises in Phan Thiet Industrial Park.

Although newly established, the ward union has quickly caught up and implemented many practical activities towards workers.

Notable are the "Union Meal" programs, visits, and gifts for workers and people in difficult circumstances and the model "Union participates in environmental protection of residential areas".

The Trade Union also proactively grasps the thoughts of workers in Phan Thiet Industrial Park. Thereby, promptly recommending and coordinating with competent authorities to resolve problems, protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members.

At the same time, the ward union focuses on raising legal awareness, professional skills, and solidarity among workers. Many cultural and sports activities are organized regularly, creating a space for cohesion, helping workers improve their spiritual life.

At the Congress, the ward union set many specific goals for the new term.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF), Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor praised the efforts of the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union in a short time for creating a positive impression.

In the new situation, Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union must innovate the content and form of propaganda, creating suitable cultural and sports playgrounds for union members and workers. Union activities must focus on the grassroots, using the grassroots as an area of activity, using the results, participation and satisfaction of union members and workers as a measure of the success of the union organization" - Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang emphasized.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on appointing the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union for the first term, 2025 - 2030. Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union.
