Hue Textile and Garment Trade Union supports 45 workers affected by floods
HUE - Hue Textile and Garment Trade Union presented a subsidy of 3 million VND/person to 45 union members and workers facing difficulties after the recent flood.
On November 28, the Trade Union of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company said that it had just coordinated with the professional organization to organize a meeting and give subsidies to 45 union members and workers in difficult circumstances who suffered damage during the storm and flood in late October and early November.
Each case received 3 million VND in cash, of which the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union supported 1 million VND/person and the Company Trade Union supported 2 million VND/person, along with an in-kind gift.
Although the value is not large, this is a timely encouragement, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of the Trade Union organization and business leaders in accompanying and sharing difficulties with workers after natural disasters.
The Company's Trade Union said it will continue to monitor and grasp the situation to provide additional appropriate forms of support, helping union members soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
