The union takes care of union members and workers with a budget of more than 3.2 billion VND

The Hanoi National University Trade Union (VNU) currently has 5,500 union members, operating at 29 grassroots unions.

In 2025, the VNU-Shoa Trade Union will support civil servants and employees (VCNLD) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year with a total amount of VND 550,000,000 (including a subsidy of VND 170,000,000 for 34 VCNLD in especially difficult circumstances with a level of VND 5,000,000/VCNLD); support VCNLD in especially difficult circumstances, policy families: VND 380,000,000 (380 VCNLD with a level of VND 1,000,000/VCNLD); support female cadres in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of March 8 with VND 21,000,000 (1,000,000 VND/VCNLD); support female cadres in especially difficult circumstances on October 20 with VND 54,000,000 (support 40 VCNLD)...

Units organize care for cadres, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLD) in 2025 with a total cost of 3,223,493,000 VND. Of which, the funding source from the union is 1,828,643,000 VND; other funding sources: 1,394,850,000 VND.

According to the VNU-UghN Trade Union, 100% of affiliated units organize periodic health check-ups for employees; mobilize to sponsor 128 milk sessions for employees' children under 15 months old; organize "Union Meal 2025" to attract 2,765 union members (total cost of 166,474,040 VND). Of which, the financial source of the grassroots trade union is 102,885,000 VND; other financial sources: 63,589,040 VND.

The units all organized well the care of the children of cadres on holidays, paid attention to supporting the activities of sports clubs, organizing art programs, reality shows, visiting and encouraging the families of workers... Thereby, contributing significantly to creating internal solidarity, creating consensus among cadres and workers at the units and the National University of Singapore.
