Trade unions care for children of disadvantaged workers in Ho Chi Minh City during the Mid-Autumn Festival
HCMC - The trade union organization presented dozens of gifts to the children of workers in difficult circumstances during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
On October 4, Area Management Working Group No. 9 organized the program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2025" for the children of workers.
The program was held in Ben Cat ward, an area with a large concentration of workers. Dozens of workers in difficult circumstances have brought their children to attend.
At the program, the union organization presented moon cakes, moon lanterns, toys and a checkout of 200,000 VND.
Notably, on the same morning, the unit visited children of disadvantaged workers being treated at My Phuoc General Hospital. Here, the group presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, cakes and lanterns for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Receiving gifts from the union, many parents who are workers were moved. Parents said that the gift is a great encouragement for their children and the workers themselves in difficult times.
According to the Area Management Working Group No. 9, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the unit will give all 278 gifts, including 20 special gifts (each worth 1 million VND and gifts), the remaining gifts include 200,000 VND and cakes, Mid-Autumn lanterns, toys.
