Binh Thuan General Hospital Trade Union takes care of the lives of union members in white blouses
Lam Dong - The Binh Thuan General Hospital Trade Union has implemented many practical activities to care for nearly 800 union members working in the medical environment.
On November 22, the Binh Thuan General Hospital Trade Union said that the unit has implemented many practical activities to care for union members, especially in the context that the health sector requires hospital staff to be on duty regularly.
In particular, the grassroots trade union coordinates with the hospital's Board of Directors to organize annual conferences for civil servants and employees, supervise the implementation of salary regimes, additional income, labor protection, on-duty and overtime regimes, helping union members feel secure in their work.
In addition, the unit also maintains spiritual activities such as organizing mini football tournaments, sports festivals, Ao Dai competitions... to create a joyful atmosphere, reducing stress for the medical team.
With more than 550 female union members, the Women's Union has implemented many activities to care for and at the same time proposed that hospital leaders maintain screening for gynecological diseases right at the hospital, bringing practical results to workers.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, highly appreciated the efforts of grassroots trade unions.
He suggested increasing representation to protect union members' rights, focusing on occupational hygiene and safety, and paying attention to additional regimes and income so that the medical team can work with peace of mind and focus on taking care of people's health.
Recently, the Binh Thuan General Hospital Trade Union held the 18th Congress, term 2025 - 2030, approving many goals and directions to strengthen care for union members in the new period.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of 9 people. In which, Ms. Ngo Luong Lam Kieu continued to be elected as Chairman of the grassroots trade union.
