Ho Chi Minh City - Dozens of workers working far from home with landlords and trade union officials together eat "Reunion meal - Tet of affection".
On the evening of January 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward coordinated with the Ward Trade Union to organize the program "Reunion Meal - Tet of Affection" at a boarding house on DX 013 street, Binh Duong ward.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward, Mr. Pham Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Binh Duong Ward.
According to Mr. Pham Tuan Tu, this year the lives and jobs of workers in the area are relatively stable. During Tet, businesses and grassroots trade unions in the ward manage and care for workers for about 12 billion VND. In addition, organize the awarding of bus and train tickets for workers to return to their hometowns for Tet.

In addition, to care for workers, the Binh Duong Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward to organize the program "Reunion Meal - Tet of Affection" in 5 boarding houses with 59 beneficiary rooms. In addition to organizing the reunion meal, the trade union presented 59 gifts worth 30 million VND to workers in difficult circumstances.
This Tet holiday, the Ward Trade Union also coordinated with the CEP Fund to give 38 gifts worth 25 million VND to workers who do not return to their hometowns for Tet.
Reunion Meal - Tet of Affection" is both a year-end meal and a thank you to workers who have chosen Binh Duong ward as a place to live and start a career. The program is also one of the activities to contribute to the goal of leaving no one in difficult circumstances behind in the ward" - Mr. Pham Tuan Tu shared.

Mr. Thai Van Chung - The landlord said that in recent years, the lives of workers far from home living in rented rooms have faced many difficulties. According to records, the program "Reunion meal - Tet of affection" was organized with 6 trays of rice with about 60 workers participating. The tray of rice had many delicious dishes such as spring rolls, chicken, braised food, hotpot, and fruit.

The meal brought a warm, gathering space. Workers and landlords shared the joy of eating a cohesive meal at the end of the year.
