Information on annual unemployment insurance payments for each employee
Every year, the Social Insurance Agency (SI) must notify each employee (employee) about the payment of employee unemployment insurance.
According to Article 36 of Decree 374/2025/ND-CP (effective from January 1, 2026), the social insurance agency is responsible for notifying each employee annually about the payment of unemployment insurance for employees; Propagating and disseminating policies, laws on unemployment insurance, guiding procedures for registration and collection of unemployment insurance for employees and employers participating in unemployment insurance.
At the same time, provide information on the participation and payment of unemployment insurance for employees to public employment service organizations in the area, except for the Ministry of National Defense Social Insurance and the People's Public Security Social Insurance; Pay unemployment benefits; support training, improve vocational skills; support training, fostering and improving vocational skills to maintain employment for employees.
The Social Insurance Agency is also responsible for recovering unemployment insurance benefits due to payment not in accordance with the decision to receive unemployment insurance benefits or payment not within the prescribed time limit or collecting unemployment insurance incorrectly, leading to the settlement of unemployment insurance benefits in violation of regulations and some other responsibilities.
