Regulations on suspending leave for officers, soldiers, and defense workers

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 13, Circular 56/2025/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense stipulates the suspension of leave as follows:

1. When there is an order to declare a national defense emergency, an order for general mobilization or local encouragement, the suspension of leave regimes shall be implemented according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 38 of the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and National Defense Officials 2015 and Clause 2, Article 2 of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army 1999; amended and supplemented in 2008, 2014 and 2024.

2. When a unit has an emergency task, in particular, any commander at any level with the authority to resolve the leave regimes prescribed in Clause 1, Article 3 of this Circular shall have the right to call soldiers, workers and defense officials to the unit to perform the task.

Thus, the suspension of leave for officers, soldiers, workers, and defense officials is regulated as above.
