Regulations on the domestic agency of the Civil Defense Command at the provincial and commune levels

Point d, Clause 3, Article 7 of Decree No. 200/2025/ND-CP (effective from August 23, 2025) stipulates the agency assisting the Provincial Civil Defense Command as follows:

The Provincial Military Command uses a department under its authority to perform the tasks of the Provincial Civil Defense Command Office, assisting the Standing Agency and the Provincial Civil Defense Command.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate the implementation of the task of advising the Provincial Civil Defense Command on natural disaster prevention and control. The Department of Agriculture and Environment uses the apparatus, facilities, and equipment of the existing specialized agency to advise and assist the Department in organizing and performing the tasks of the Provincial Civil Defense Command Committee on natural disaster prevention and control and is funded to perform the task.

Meanwhile, Point d, Clause 3, Article 8 of the Decree stipulates the Agency assisting the Commune-level Civil Defense Command as follows:

The People's Committee at the commune level of the Economic Department or the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department assigned to the task of state management of natural disaster prevention and control presides over and coordinates the implementation of the task of advising the Commune-level Civil Defense Command on natural disaster prevention and control in the area and is funded to perform the task.
