Advertising for health protection foods must meet the following requirements from February 15, 2026

Article 5 of Decree No. 342/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising (effective from February 15, 2026) stipulates the requirements for food advertising content as follows:
1. Food advertising content must include the following mandatory information: Food name; name, address of the organization or individual responsible for the product.
2. Advertising health protection foods must have the following phrases: "Health protection foods"; advertising supplements must have the following phrases: "Supplementary foods"; advertising medical nutritional foods must have the phrases " Medical nutritional foods" and "Using for patients under the supervision of medical staff"; advertising foods for special diets must have the following phrases: "Nutritional products for (specific subjects using that product)".
3. The content of health protection food advertising must include the information specified in Clause 1 of this Article and the following contents:
a) Uses of the product, health warnings (if any);
b) Recommendation "This food is not a medicine and does not have the effect of replacing medicine";
c) Advertising in newspapers and videos with a duration of less than 15 seconds does not require reading the recommendation, but must show the recommendation in the advertising content.
Thus, from February 15, 2026, the content of advertising health protection foods
must ensure complete information according to the above regulations.
