Method of health insurance payment for students

According to Hanoi Social Insurance: Pursuant to the provisions of Point a, Clause 6, Article 7 of Decree No. 188/2025/ND-CP dated July 1, 2025 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance stipulating the method of health insurance payment: "Forever 3 months, 06 months or 12 months, students or parents, parents, or guardians of students are responsible for paying health insurance, partly under their responsibility according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 8 of this Decree to the social insurance agency".

Thus, parents can register to participate in student health insurance for their children at the educational institution or school where their children are studying under the 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month methods.

In which: Students pay 50% and the state budget supports 50% of the health insurance premium.
