Clause 1, Article 7 of the 2025 Law on Protection of State Secrets (effective from March 1, 2026) stipulates the scope of political information secrecy as follows:

a) The Party and State's guidelines and policies on domestic and foreign affairs;

b) Activities of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, key leaders and senior leaders of the Party and State;

c) Strategies, plans, projects on ethnicity, religion and ethnic and religious affairs related to national security protection, ensuring social order and safety;

d) Information that has a negative impact on the political situation.

Thus, the scope of state secrecy on political information includes the above regulations.
