The duties and powers of the Commune Health Station on social protection are stipulated in Circular 43/2025/TT-BYT.
Circular 43/2025/TT-BYT guides many tasks and powers of Commune Health Stations, including the tasks and powers of social protection as follows:
6. Regarding social protection:
a) Providing social work services: receiving, screening, assessing the needs and supporting the elderly, people with disabilities, children, victims of trafficking, violence, people with mental disorders or mental disorders; psychological consultation, support, connection and sending to relevant facilities and organizations according to the provisions of law;
b) Manage cases, monitor, supervise and intervene in the community; coordinate with organizations, unions, individuals and social work collaborators in the community to implement social work activities in accordance with the provisions of law.
